Welcome to Home Helper Connect. By using our website, services, or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About Our Service

Home Helper Connect assists users in discovering and connecting with domestic workers, nannies, caregivers, cleaners and related helpers. We facilitate introductions and sharing of shortlisted candidate information but are not the direct employer of candidates.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform and engage with candidates.

3. Helper Find Fee / Service Fees

  • Fees paid are for access to candidate information and matching services.
  • Payment does not guarantee employment placement.
  • Fees may be non-refundable once candidate information has been released.
  • Refunds are considered only where required by law or approved by management.

4. Candidate Information

Candidate profiles, CVs, references and attachments shared through Home Helper Connect are confidential.

You agree not to:

  • Share candidate information publicly
  • Sell or redistribute candidate documents
  • Use information for unlawful purposes
  • Misrepresent employment opportunities

5. Background Checks & Verification

While we may conduct screening or verification processes, users remain responsible for performing their own interviews, checks and employment decisions before hiring a candidate.

6. No Employment Guarantee

Home Helper Connect does not guarantee:

  • Employment outcomes
  • Candidate suitability
  • Availability of shortlisted helpers
  • Performance after placement

7. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Treat candidates respectfully
  • Comply with labour and employment laws
  • Use the platform lawfully

8. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for ensuring information submitted, qualifications and references are accurate and truthful.

9. Communications

By using our services, you consent to receive emails, SMS messages, notifications and updates regarding enquiries, payments and shortlisted candidates.

10. Limitation of Liability

Home Helper Connect shall not be liable for losses, damages, disputes, employment issues, misconduct, negligence or outcomes arising between clients and helpers.

11. Privacy

Your use of our platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse, fraud, abuse or unlawful conduct is detected.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
